The problem may seem to be resolved by removing the permission to access the Messages to Storage app. To do this, go to Settings -> Applications -> Samsung Messages -> Permissions -> Storage.

While the South Korean giant Samsung has yet to comment on the issue, a solution is expected shortly in the form of an update to the Messaging app, as is often the case in these situations.
